Andre Onana seals 5-year Deal with Man United

Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana has finalized his transfer to Manchester United on a 5 year contract that will keep him untill 2028 with an optional one year.

The formal Inter Milan goalkeeper, sealed his transfer to the English club in a €55 million fee that makes him the third most expensive goalkeeper in the history of football.

The 27 year old sees this new moment as a dream come true for him.

“To join Manchester United is an incredible honour and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment.” He said

Before sealing his transfer to United, Onana has bid goodbye to Inter Milan in an emotional message on his Twitter account this evening.

“I never imagine saying goodbye will be so hard”, his message partially reads

The 2023 Champions League finalist is very ambitious as he stated yesterday that he wants to win the Champions League with Manchester United.

André Onana move to United reunites him with Eric Ten Hag, his former boss at Ajax of Amsterdam and other former teammates that left Ajax to join United in the previous years.

The new United goalkeeper was spotted this evening on his way to join his new team mates who are currently on preseason tour in New York.

Onana who has replaced Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gae will wear number 24 shirt for united.
