Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute, has offered French National team captain, Kylian Mbappé a symbol of a contemporary African Woman, a gift mixed with traditional fabric and a 2021 AFCON football.
This gesture from the Head of Government was done during Kylian Mbappé,’s visit to the Star Building this Friday July 07, 2023.
To Reciprocate PM’s action, the French International gifted a shirt of the French National team to the prime Minister.
PM Dion Ngute described Mbappe as hope to young Cameroonians and the World at large, also explaining that the name ” Mbappé” signifies a “representative”
“It is a great honour for me, I have always wanted to come back to my country of origin, One I have never cut ties with. I had a formidable time since arrival, I came here with my family to let you know how we are ready to help young people. I became Kylian because I was given the opportunity, I want to give to others” Kylian Mbappé said in a audience with the PM.
The French football star also had a talk with Cameroon’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Prof Narcisse Mouelle Kombi prior to his audience with the Prime Minister.
The PSG forward will continue his three day visit and Cameroon tomorrow and will later on return to France where he pays allegiance.
