Akocha Music was delighted to introduce the traditional Bangwa ‘Aluachaba’ Royal beat to the rest of the world. The ALUACHABA ROYAL DANCE BEAT was introduced to the Lebang, Lebialem people of Cameroon by His Royal Majesty King Fontem Asonganyi. Initially this prestigious dance beat was only performed by the princes and princesses of the Royal family of the King of Fontem, then some older and renowned Chiefs of the Lebang clan were given the permission to perform the dance beat during traditional ceremonies that really befit the Aluachaba royal dance. It is a dance beat meant for ROYALTY due to its prestigious values within the Lebang-Lebialem Dynasties. Enjoy and share the joy with the Bangwa of Lebialem, Cameroon.

“Akocha Music is a budding music label formed to promote original African traditional beats not yet vulgarized in popular music. It was created on the 15th of December 2021 to support up-and-coming young artists from small towns and the hinterlands of Cameroon. We intend to give them a voice and an opportunity to be known globally. Our vision is to proliferate the hidden germ (authentic African ceremonial beats) not yet consumed as popular music globally”
